This year, Ambrosia had the privilege of joining the Gurjaani Wine Festival, one of the most influential and celebrated wine events in Georgia. Held annually in the heart of Kakheti, the festival gathers wineries from across the country to showcase their craft. For Ambrosia, participating in the Gurjaani Wine Festival was not only an exciting milestone but also an opportunity to present our full collection of wines to a large and diverse audience. Hundreds of visitors sampled our varietals, shared their impressions, and many walked away with bottles to enjoy at home.
One of the most memorable aspects of attending the Gurjaani Wine Festival was standing out as the only foreign-owned winery present at the event. This unique position allowed us to engage with local producers, exchange samples, and discuss techniques with established wineries from the Kakheti region. It was an inspiring moment of cultural exchange and mutual respect, an opportunity to compare styles, learn from tradition, and highlight Ambrosia’s own winemaking philosophy rooted in quality, curiosity, and innovation.
The festival was an incredible chance to meet many people who had already discovered Ambrosia through social media and to introduce our wines to entirely new audiences. The feedback we received throughout the Gurjaani Wine Festival was overwhelmingly positive. We value long, thoughtful conversations, and asking visitors in-depth questions about their preferences helps us gather meaningful insights that directly influence decisions for future harvests. These interactions reminded us how important it is to stay close to our community and listen to the people who enjoy our wines.
Beyond the tastings, the Gurjaani Wine Festival proved to be a strong networking platform for expanding Ambrosia’s international reach. Throughout the day, we met distributors from Greece, Germany, Ukraine, and Bulgaria who expressed interest in learning more about our portfolio. These conversations opened doors for potential export opportunities and reinforced the value of being present at one of the largest wine festivals in Georgia. For Ambrosia, it was a moment of growth, visibility, and connection, both locally and globally.
